Assistant Manager – Real Assets

Apex Group has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager to join our inclusive team. This full-time role is based in Saint Helier and offers an attractive salary and benefits package. Being part of a diverse and positive company, there are many exciting ways to get involved.

As Assistant Manager, you will support the Manager in maintaining a high-performing team. You will be expected to build and sustain excellent client relationships and help achieve our mission of delivering excellent client service.

You will ensure team efficiency aligns with company procedures, handle client requests, and meet SLAs. An understanding of relevant regulations and rules associated with Apex\’s activities is essential, along with guiding junior staff accordingly.

Operations:

  • Plan and execute client service tasks accurately and on time.
  • Capture and review errors for improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other Team Managers and the Senior Team to meet service delivery objectives.
  • Work with the Accounting Team to meet client accounting requirements.
  • Act as an Authorized Signatory.

Development of People:

  • Provide coaching to ensure team deliveries are at a superlative level.
  • Foster teamwork and client service excellence.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with key clients.
  • Maintain revenue recording, invoicing, and collection processes.
  • Maintain client revenue forecasting models.
  • Conduct periodic service reviews with clients.
  • Seek and secure follow-on revenue opportunities with the Senior Team.

Skills Required:

  • At least 3 years experience in a financial institution, preferably within Real Assets.
  • Ability to reflect, review actions, motivate self and team.
  • Creative thinking and pragmatic solution delivery.
  • Confident communication skills tailored to clients.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of banking/administration systems.
  • Integrity, good communication, and discretion.
