As an Assistant Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of clients, leading the delivery of monthly management accounts and year-end financial reporting. You will support and mentor junior team members across global teams, provide technical accounting expertise, and ensure the smooth running of client operations, including payments and tax filings. Working closely with internal stakeholders and clients, you will play a key role in maintaining strong relationships, driving high-quality service delivery, and supporting the overall growth and efficiency of the business.

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, taking ownership of monthly management accounts.
  • Support and guide junior team members across global teams (Mauritius & India).
  • Provide technical accounting advice and assist with ad hoc projects.
  • Oversee client payment processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and build strong client relationships.
  • Review and support tax filings (VAT, corporation tax, P11Ds, PSA).
  • Lead year-end processes, including financial statements (UK GAAP & IFRS) and audit coordination.
  • Assist with billing, debt management, and team development.
Skills & experience required:
  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with strong accounting knowledge.
  • Experience in management accounts preparation, ideally in a multi-client environment.
  • A high level of technical knowledge and ability to apply it in practical situations.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage priorities effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills with a focus on improving processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively (written & oral) at all levels, internally and externally.
  • Work together as a team, participate in open communication and contribute in meetings; supporting colleagues with a ‘can do‘ positive attitude and approach.
  • Have an interest in business development and a desire to help the business grow.
