Role Location: Capital calls and distributions, waterfall calculations; Manage the audit process, maintenance of audit files and communication/liaison with auditors for portfolio clients; Liaise and act as the day to day contact with the fund managers and other external parties on portfolio of clients; Attend board meetings and present financial information; Lead, mentor and develop a team of accountants, including setting objectives and their periodic appraisals.
Skills Required:
- Hold a professional ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA qualification or equivalent;
- Substantial Fund accounting experience preferably within Private Equity in a professional services environment;
- People management experience;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to develop strong, effective working relationships with colleagues and clients;
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to multitask efficiently;
- Knowledge of fund administration tasks would be advantageous;
- A good working knowledge of IFRS and other prominent accounting standards.
