Apex Unitas Limited CASS Oversight Officer is responsible for managing CASS for the company. This includes:
- Managing the CASS auditor relationship, running the firm’s CASS audit, including planning, regular progress meetings, final reporting, company Board presentation and sign off, and dialogue with the auditor.
- Ongoing service process review and redesign to ensure the company’s compliance with CASS 5 and 6 regulations.
- Ensuring CASS compliance for new services launched by the company.
The role is a Certified Management Function as defined by the FCA Senior Managers regime.
Role expertise and experience requirements:
- 5 years CASS operational experience, preferably in an oversight role.
- Degree qualification as well as recognised compliance study progress.
- Detailed technical knowledge of CASS 5 and 6.
- Proven ability to run CASS monitoring programme.
- Ability to generate quarterly Board reporting and to present CASS reporting to the Board.
- Knowledge of operational processes and ability to review processes for alignment with CASS rules and provide feedback and required changes/improvements as part of a structured sign off process.
- Proactive, self-starter.
