Description:
Reporting to the Deputy Head of FP&A in London, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional to lead a niche high calibre 3 person team to drive the Group’s management reporting suite for 3 sets of stakeholders:
- The Board - Monthly Management Results;
- Private Equity Shareholders – Equity Reporting;
- Lenders – Lender reporting to debt covenants.
Although the group has a good reporting foundation, emphasis of this role is to lead the improved governance and control over reporting, improve the messaging and timeliness of delivery to our stakeholders, and to provide a more coherent response to queries by centralising responses to all sets of stakeholders. Excellent communication skills are required as reviews are held with the c-suite within the organisation (CEO and Founder, CFO, COO, etc). The role will collaborate with the Group Head of FP&A, and with colleagues within FP&A (e.g. business partners), across functions (e.g. M&A team) and across the broader business (e.g. regional and country heads and finance leads). An excellent knowledge of financials, accounting, analytics and attention to detail is key.
Job specification:
- Produce Monthly Results including:
- Prepare the monthly board results deck, leveraging OfficeConnect and inputs from various stakeholders (e.g. business partners).
- Own and maintain all proforma results reporting, including obtaining a good understanding of all upcoming acquisitions.
- Produce the monthly capital structure and liquidity reporting, leveraging inputs from Group Treasury.
- Oversee the production of the monthly segment results and produce the executive summary over the results.
- Oversee the Group’s monthly synergy reporting and prepare synergy metrics.
- Prepare quarterly lender decks including commentary, and provide answers to questions from lender advisors (e.g. banking groups).
- Manage the Bonus Scorecard for the Group and for input to the Compensation Committee.
- Provide timely answers to private equity shareholder and lender queries in well summarised formats.
- Key contact for quality of earnings reviews managed by consulting firms.
- Run ad hoc reporting and analysis for the Group Head of FP&A relating to c-suite queries.
- Be a team player within FP&A to collectively win as a team.
- Lead the FP&A group management report development in Workday: Collaborate with the FP&A team to improve the reporting suite in Workday, the group’s new ERP system.
- Increasingly leverage the use of Power BI dashboards.
- Drive standardisation of reports across various systems leveraging standard hierarchies including account hierarchy, company hierarchies and product line hierarchies.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
- Good communication and writing skills to support commentary for senior executives.
- Strong technical skills and experience working with large data sets.
- Knowledge of Workday and Adaptive Planning (group management reporting system) an added advantage.
- Attention to details.
- Minimum 10 years Post Qualification experience.
- Demonstrable Team Player in a Global Team.
- Build excellent working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.

- Ensure reporting deliverables are produced and reviewed to a high standard and delivered in a timely manner.
