The role: Client Success Manager
We are looking for a Client Success Manager to act as the primary liaison for UK clients, typically high-profile investment managers across private equity and private credit. The Client Success Manager will lead client engagement, communication, and coordination post-onboarding, supporting clients and their portfolio companies to drive meaningful and measurable ESG improvements. The ideal candidate will have experience in a client-facing role, ideally within a SaaS B2B, financial services, ESG, consulting, or technology environment. They will be able to demonstrate how they have built trusted client relationships, maintained client loyalty, and identified opportunities to expand the value delivered to clients. As a Client Success Manager, you will own a portfolio of clients, nurture senior relationships, and ensure that the full potential of Holtara’s advisory and platform offerings are realised across our existing client base. Your main goal will be to become a trusted advisor to your clients.
What you will do:
- Act as the primary relationship lead for a portfolio of UK clients, ensuring strong engagement, communication, and delivery throughout the client lifecycle.
- Coordinate all aspects of client engagement and delivery, ensuring projects are aligned, efficient, and delivered to a high standard.
- Ensure consistently high-quality report delivery, both in content and timing, reflecting client needs, ESG priorities, and areas of high-impact potential.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, client experience, and product effectiveness to ensure Holtara remains efficient and best-in-class.
- Proactively identify, develop, and support the conversion of advisory opportunities across ESG due diligence, climate transition, sustainability value creation, ESG reporting, regulatory readiness, sustainable finance, and impact.
- Work closely with Holtara.io (our sustainability platform) and technology colleagues to ensure client feedback is represented in our product roadmap.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including advisory, platform, and commercial colleagues, to ensure client needs are understood and effectively addressed.
What you bring:
- 4+ years of experience in a client-facing role, ideally within Client Success, Account Management, Sales, Consulting, ESG, financial services, or technology.
- Experience managing high-profile or international clients, with a proven ability to build trusted relationships.
- Experience working with SaaS platforms or technology-enabled services.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple internal teams to achieve client goals.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, including strong written, presentation, and video conference skills.
- Experience delivering multi-faceted projects involving client meetings, internal coordination, data management, and report delivery.
- A proactive, ambitious, and open-minded approach, with strong problem-solving skills.
- ESG/sustainability knowledge is an advantage but not essential. However, a willingness to learn about and develop knowledge of ESG and sustainability topics is required.
- Strong organisational skills, structured ways of working, and exceptional attention to detail.
- A genuine interest in sustainability, technology, data, and scalable client solutions.
- Resilience, adaptability, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong networking mindset, with willingness to attend and represent Holtara at relevant industry events.
