Role Description
We are looking to recruit a Social Worker who loves supporting children and foster families to join us on our exciting journey. We want you to wake up and enjoy coming to work so you will have a caseload of 10 families to support across Essex, Hertfordshire, Outer London. You will be expected to travel to the carers' homes for meetings as and when required. Most of your administrative work will be undertaken from home.
About the role and team
This is an exciting role in a relatively new agency that has grown to over 40 children in 5 years. As part of a small team you will be valued and your views taken seriously. We want staff, carers, and young people to be proud of Apex and what we do. You will have help from some of the most highly recognised social work support in the country and will be able to develop your own specialisms. You will know that the work you do ensures excellent outcomes for young people.
Qualifications
You will need to have a social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England. It is a requirement that you have 3 years fostering industry experience. You will also be required to undertake a DBS check and references.
