About This Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Agency Trader (Overnight) to join our Trading and Execution Services Team. In this critical role, you will support customersâincluding broker dealers, institutional clients, and registered investment advisorsâduring overnight trading sessions. You will provide operational support, ensure risk mitigation, maintain smooth trade flow, and deliver an exceptional client experience.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Monitor overnight trading activity, ensuring efficient trade execution and accuracy.
- Act as the first point of contact for resolving client inquiries related to order flow, trade execution, and system performance.
- Collaborate with clients to troubleshoot technical issues involving Order Management Systems (OMS) and Electronic Trading Systems (EMS).
- Proactively identify and respond to potential trade settlement, compliance, or operational risks.
- Coordinate with operations, technology, and compliance teams to address client needs and improve service delivery.
- Provide strategic insights and guidance based on market dynamics, trading protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain thorough and accurate updates to ensure seamless handoff to nextâday trading staff.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) required.
- 3+ years of experience supporting broker dealer, institutional, or RIA customers in a trading environment.
- FINRA SIE and Series 7 preferred or willingness to obtain.
