Due to growth we are currently looking for a Solar PV Electrician on behalf of a multi award‑winning renewable energy company. They are a fast‑growing company who are very well established in the renewable energy field. Established over 15 years, they have designed and installed thousands of residential and commercial energy systems including solar panels, battery storage, heat pumps, electric vehicle charging points and LED lighting.
Their head office is based in Southampton but their services cover Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Surrey, West Sussex, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Buckinghamshire. They currently employ around 40 staff members, and they invest in and look after their people.
We are looking for an electrician who is self‑motivated, able to work on their own as well as with others, and who wants to join an exciting, entrepreneurial company for the long‑term. Typical work activities include working with Solar PV, Battery Storage and EV Chargers. The right candidate must have excellent customer service skills, both in the commercial and domestic sectors. High standards of workmanship are essential.
This is a permanent position paying £43k – £50k per annum depending on experience. You will also be provided with a company vehicle, iPad, pension, health insurance, training and development opportunities, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
Ideally we are looking for candidates within a reasonable distance to Southampton as you would be required to travel to their office to pick up parts and materials. The role is working Monday to Friday. You are typically expected to arrive on site for 8am and finish by 4pm; however if you finish your work before then you can have an early finish.
