Due to growth, we are currently recruiting for an Air Conditioning Maintenance Engineer on behalf of a well-established Building Services Maintenance Contractor.
Established over 35 years, they provide reliable and professional management and support of your building needs throughout London and the South East.
Their office is based in Bracknell.
They offer a range of services including Air Conditioning, Plumbing, Commercial & Domestic Gas Services, Electrical Services and Facilities Management.
Their clients are mainly in the commercial sector and include schools and colleges.
As the Air Conditioning Engineer you will be responsible for commissioning, servicing, fault finding, and maintaining splits, multi splits, VRV and VRF air conditioning systems, as well as HVAC PPMs.
This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday 7am – 3pm, and the salary is £45k – £50k per annum depending on experience.
Perks include van & fuel card, overtime, pension, sick pay, life insurance, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
There is no call‑out rota for this position.
Most of the work is in central London.
Responsibilities
- To ensure all delegated Reactive Works orders and PPM’s are completed within the contract defined time SLA’s & KPI’s.
- Servicing and maintenance of split, multi‑split & VRV/VRF air conditioning systems.
- Ensure the Client, Customer and Team are ‘kept in the loop’ through feedback and regular updates.
- Contribute to the delivery of a quality service, aiming for 100% satisfaction of the Customer.
- Communicate daily with helpdesk/Supervisor regarding status of PPM and Reactive tasks.
- To ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to.
Skills & Attributes
- Experience working within FM or the building services industry.
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
- Strong, demonstrable competencies in building services trades.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- An excellent understanding of Health and Safety.
- Competent in the use of computers and data handling including Microsoft Office systems.
- Full UK Driving License.
