Teaching Assistant - Hornchurch - Recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work alongside the class teacher supporting KS1 children with their everyday learning.
In the class, there is a child with a medical need that will need support with the management of their catheter which will need changing morning and afternoon of the school day.
For the Teaching Assistant role, we are looking for someone calm, caring, motivated and able to build trust and offer consistent support to all the children in the class with their learning and development.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm (Term time only)
Teaching Assistant Duties & Qualifications:
- To work alongside the class teacher with all aspects of the students' learning and to motivate them to achieve in the classroom.
- To have experience working with children or young people, ideally in an education or care setting.
- Is confident supporting the students' medical or personal care needs.
- Shows empathy, professionalism and patience at all times.
- Qualified with a L2/L3 Teaching Assistant, Care or SEND qualification.
