Teaching Assistant – SEN Rochester, Medway 34 hours per week – term time only Salary displayed is actual pro-rata salary Start: As soon as possible (or after a notice period) In partnership with the schoo l we are looking to recruit a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work with students with a range of learning disabilities; dyslexia, speech & language, mental health, ASD A good understanding of working with students in a class based environment with learning disabilities Working 1:1 and in small groups to provide personal support to learners Ability to work with students of all ages. You will help to ensure all students can thrive and fully develop their social, cognitive and emotional skills Be able to actively promote and assist safe learning Previous experience working with learning disabilities in a classroom based setting is desirable but not essential.
