An excellent opportunity for someone wanting to gain further experience within a school setting. For the role you will be required to work as part of a team supervising the students during their lunchtime break in the dining hall and playground areas of the school.
Starting after the Easter Break. Monday - Friday, 1-2 hrs per day (term time only).
Are you reliable, committed, pro-active and have the skills to ensure a safe and happy lunchtime for the children?
- To supervise the students during mealtimes in the dinner hall.
- Being aware of the students' dietary requirements and ensure they are monitored accordingly.
- To ensure safe and suitable play within the play areas of the school.
- To monitor the behaviour of the students, discouraging any negative behaviour in a positive way and ensuring any incidents are reported as appropriate.
- Have effective communication skills, to be calm and patient.
- To understand safeguarding of children.
- Happy to assist with personal care if needed.
