EYFS Teaching Assistant required for a Romford School to support a student 1-1 with Autism and Speech/Language needs. Ideally, somebody with knowledge/experience and an understanding of the EYFS curriculum to support the student with their learning.

Start as soon as possible - Monday - Friday (Term time only).

EYFS Teaching Assistant Role:
  • Experience and knowledge of working with Early Years children that have Learning Difficulties.
  • Knowledge and an understanding of the EYFS curriculum and phonics would be essential.
  • Supporting the student through learning and play.
  • Working alongside the teacher to be a role model and guide for the student, to motivate them to achieve.
  • Having high expectations for behaviour and developing the student's social skills.
  • Happy to assist with personal care if needed.
  • Relevant EYFS or L2/L3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
