Recruiting for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to support 3 children with mild ADHD & autism in the reception area of a Hornchurch School. For the role, the children need a daily routine and learn through play to settle and engage with the rest of the class.

To start 3rd November 2025 or ASAP thereafter - Monday to Friday 8:15am - 3:15pm (30 minute lunch) term time only.

  • To have an understanding of phonics and EYFS curriculum is essential.
  • Working alongside the teacher to be a role model and guide for children.
  • Experience, knowledge and skills working with Early Years children that have Learning Difficulties ie Autism & ADHD.
  • Knowledge and an understanding of the EYFS curriculum and phonics to support the children with their learning and development.
  • Building intellectual, social, emotional and physical skills whilst promoting enjoyment of learning.
  • To keep a safe environment and be aware of all Safeguarding Policies and procedures.
  • Happy to assist with personal care if needed.
  • Qualified with a relevant Early Years, L2/L3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
