We are recruiting for Teaching Assistant roles in conjunction with the SENCOs & Headteachers of a number of primary schools in the Romford area to support students with Special Educational Needs. Our aim is to help these children have a positive impact on their education as well as social & emotional development. The job role is from 8.30am to 3.30pm during term time, which may suit someone with the right skills looking for school-based hours.

Are you knowledgeable & looking for an opportunity to make a difference to a young life? You may have a background as a Teaching Assistant, Youth Worker, Psychology graduate or transferable skills from the Care Setting or Public Sector.

Responsibilities:
  • Support students with additional needs in various settings: 1-1, small group, and in a classroom environment.
  • Work with children or adults who have additional needs, including ADHD, ASD, speech & language needs, and SEMH.
  • Understand traits and triggers to make learning a positive experience and support teaching & learning accordingly.
