As soon as possible - Recruiting for a motivated Teaching Assistant to join the friendly team in an outstanding Romford primary school, to work with a Year 1 mainstream class providing extra support to children with additional needs. A rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children thrive both academically and emotionally.
Monday - Friday, 8.30am to 3.30pm (term time only)
For the Teaching Assistant Role:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with additional needs.
- Help children stay focused, confident, and motivated in their learning.
- Support children with their social, emotional, and learning development.
- Assist with classroom preparation and daily routines.
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
