Are you a Teaching Assistant with varied SEN knowledge and skills? Teaching Assistant required to work where support is needed across the school from Nursery to Year 6. For the role, you will be required to work in the classroom, as part of a small group or 1:1 support. The successful Teaching Assistant will support teaching and learning including providing targeted support for students with SEND.
Monday - Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm (30 min lunch - Term Time Only)
Do you have the motivation to work as part of a team throughout a busy Romford School?
We are looking for:
- Experience working with children from Nursery up to Year 6
- Varied Special Educational Needs experience/knowledge
- Someone who can work in a classroom, 1-1, or a group setting
- Phonics, PECS or Makaton trained
- To support teaching & learning whilst understanding traits and triggers to make learning a positive experience
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Ideally to have Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
