Apex Educ8 is seeking to recruit a dedicated Year 4 Teaching Assistant for an outstanding Primary school in Barnet. This would be a full-time position, starting September. The ideal candidate would be someone that is hardworking and is keen on producing excellent results. You will be working with an ECT so Year 4 experience is essential. - Location: Barnet, North London
- Contract: Temp to Perm
- Full/Part Time: Full Time, September 2025 start
- Rate: £90 – £110 (DOE)
- Hours: 8:30am – 4pm
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with the planning of learning activities.
- Use strategies, in liaison with the teacher, to support students to achieve learning goals.
- Monitor students’ responses to learning activities and accurately record achievement/progress as directed.
- Provide detailed and regular feedback to teachers on student achievement, progress, problems etc.
- Promote good pupil behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents within and beyond the classroom in line with established policy.
- Create and maintain a purposeful, structured and supportive environment, in accordance with lesson plans and assist with the display of students’ work.
YOU MUST:
- Hold valid RIGHT TO WORK in the UK
- Hold Enhanced Child DBS on the update service
- Provide two professional references covering the last 2 years
