Job Specification:
- Location: South-West London
- Contract: Temp to perm
- Full/Part Time: Part Time
- Rate: Β£140-Β£200 p/d (DOE) (Paid to scale)
- Hours: 8:30am β 4pm
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver Science lessons across key stages 3 and 4, ensuring a high standard of teaching and learning
- Plan and prepare lessons that are engaging and challenging for all ability levels
- Foster an inclusive environment, encouraging students to reach their full potential
- Provide detailed and regular feedback on student achievement, progress, problems etc.
- Promote good pupil behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents within and beyond the classroom in line with established policy
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Science department and the wider school
The ideal candidate:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting.
- Passion for Science and the ability to inspire students.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues and students.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
