Week 1: Monday-Thursday 06:00-14:30 and Friday 06:00-12:00.

We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team. As a fitter working within our assembly department, you will be responsible for building Dumpers in our 2.3T to 9T model range, ensuring that company policies and procedures for Safety, Quality and Productivity are adhered to at all times.
Job description:
- Uses own skills and hand-held tools to assemble painted steel components and supplier components in an efficient manner to maximise production.
- Ensure all finished machines are to the required quality standard.
- Follows required procedures that are provided to assist in the assembly process.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Communicates effectively with other workers in the process workflow.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Knowledge of vehicle hydraulic systems and vehicle electrical systems.
- Good mechanical skills and ability to read technical drawings.
- Ability to work in awkward positions such as kneeling, lying down and overhead and to be able to climb and work from a ladder or platform.
- Ability to operate hand-held tools, including air operated wrenches.
- Ability to work to a takt time.
- Previous experience in the assembly of components for heavy industry or off-road vehicles.
