Apex Educ8 is looking for a confident and supportive Pastoral / Behaviour Mentor to join a school in South East London. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building positive relationships with young people and supporting pupils with their behaviour, wellbeing and engagement in school.
Responsibilities:
- Build positive and trusted relationships with pupils
- Provide pastoral and behavioural support
- Support pupils to manage behaviour and emotions positively
- Help remove barriers to learning and engagement
- Work closely with teaching and pastoral teams
Requirements:
- Experience supporting children or young people in an education, pastoral or relevant setting
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A calm, patient and consistent approach
- Confidence supporting behaviour and challenging situations
- Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
