The Role

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to support the delivery of high-quality education across the school.

You will play an important role in supporting students' academic progress, confidence, independence, and overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver planned learning activities and interventions.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).
  • Experience supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs.
  • Strong understanding of classroom practice and behaviour management.
  • Confidence delivering interventions and supporting learning independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • A proactive, resilient, and professional approach.
