Apex Educ8 are seeking to recruit a dedicated and dynamic Director of Maths to work in an illustrious secondary school in Brent. The ideal candidate would take a lead role in developing and steering an exciting curriculum which enables the highest level of pupil progress and attainment in the Maths department. Job Specification: * Location: Brent * Job Title: Director of Maths * Contract: Permanent * Full/Part Time: Full Time * Salary: Leadership Scale * Hours: 8am – 3:30pm (approx.) Job Responsibilities: * Effectively being subject co-ordination across the school, which involves working with all key stages. * Lead and manage a conglomerate of subject teachers to ensure the highest student attainment across the department. * Monitoring the progress and attainment of students in the mathematics department. * Regularly working with NQT co-ordinator and Teaching and Learning Lead to identify key areas of support. * Delivery and accountability for the Mathematics Specialism including liaison with other authorities to maintain the profile of the school as a Mathematics Specialist School.
