Job Specification:
- Location: London
- Contract: Temp to perm
- Full/Part Time: Full Time
- Rate: £170 - £230 p/d (DOE) (Paid to scale)
- Hours: 8:00am – 4pm
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver class lessons, ensuring a high standard of teaching and learning
- Plan and prepare lessons that are engaging and challenging for all ability levels
- Foster an inclusive environment, encouraging students to reach their full potential
- Provide detailed and regular feedback on student achievement, progress, problems etc.
- Promote good pupil behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents within and beyond the classroom in line with established policy
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in the wider school
The ideal College Lecturer has:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS), (QTLS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching in a college setting.
- Passion for education and the ability to inspire students.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues and students.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
YOU MUST:
- Hold QTS, QTLS or equivalent
- Hold valid RIGHT TO WORK in the UK
- Hold Enhanced Child DBS on the update service
- Provide two professional references
