Do you have experience mentoring, coaching, supporting, or working 1:1 with young people? Are you confident building relationships, managing challenging behaviour, and helping students stay engaged and motivated? Apex Educ8 is currently recruiting for a Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive and welcoming school in NW2, London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference in young people’s lives while gaining valuable experience within education.
The school is looking for a strong role model who can support students both academically and emotionally, helping them overcome barriers to learning and positively engage within the school environment.
The Role:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with behavioural and emotional needs
- Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
- Support students with emotional regulation, confidence, and engagement
- Help manage challenging behaviour using positive behaviour strategies
- Work closely with teaching staff, SEN teams, and pastoral staff
- Encourage students to stay focused, motivated, and on task
- Create a safe, calm, and supportive environment for learning
