- Hours: 8:30am - 4pm
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging PE lessons across key stages 3 and 4, ensuring a high standard of teaching and learning
- Plan and prepare lessons that are engaging and challenging for all ability levels
- Foster an inclusive environment, encouraging students to reach their full potential
- Provide detailed and regular feedback on student achievement, progress, problems, etc.
- Promote good pupil behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents within and beyond the classroom in line with established policy
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in the PE department and the wider school
The ideal candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting
- Passion for PE and the ability to inspire students
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities
- A proactive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues and students
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
