Are you a dedicated and creative Design & Technology Teacher ready to make an immediate impact in a supportive and well-structured school environment? We are working with a welcoming secondary school in Brent seeking a committed DT Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis. The role:
- Full teaching responsibilities within Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4
- Delivering a broad DT curriculum including product design, resistant materials, graphics, and CAD
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Creating a safe, purposeful, and well-managed workshop environment
- Assessing, recording, and reporting on pupil progress in line with school expectations
- Contributing to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching DT across KS3 and KS4
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management and classroom practice
- Be organised, reliable, and committed to a long-term role
- Have a clear understanding of the UK curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Be committed to raising attainment and supporting all learners to achieve their potential
