About the Role
Apex Educ8 is looking for confident and dependable Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Wembley, with opportunities to start as soon as compliance checks are completed.
If you enjoy working with young people, have strong communication skills and feel confident managing a classroom, we’d love to hear from you.
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll supervise lessons during teacher absences, helping students stay engaged with their work and maintaining a calm, structured learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise classes across a range of subjects.
- Encourage students to stay focused and complete the work set.
- Manage classroom behaviour fairly and confidently.
- Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.
- Communicate any concerns to the appropriate member of staff.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with secondary school-aged pupils or young people.
- Strong communication skills and confidence managing groups.
- A positive, patient and adaptable approach.
- Reliability and the ability to use your initiative.
- Willingness to complete the necessary safeguarding and compliance checks.
