A little about your role… Our Finance team is an integral part of the business, achieving best-in-class performance and control through a breadth of specialty Finance Functions. With a finance lens, we help develop, track and communicate progress on an agenda that maximises long-term shareholder value creation. Planning & forecasting aligned to SBU strategy & business plans. Using insight to challenge and influence strategic business decisions to improve financial performance of WSP projects and services. Identification of risk and opportunities, backed up by analysis of financial and commercial information. Ensuring variance between budgets, forecasts and actual results are understood, clearly explained and necessary actions are implemented at appropriate levels of the business. Project financial performance review and assurance of income, cost to complete, working capital and change control. Line management and development of finance team members. Ensuring corporate governance, control and best practice is understood and communicated effectively to the business. Wider duties will include deputising in senior management meetings, bid support, financial and strategic integration, and project team working.
What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…
- Qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or significantly progressed with studies.
- Advanced experience of finance business partnering.
- Experience of team leadership.
- Worked at Senior Finance Manager level or at Finance Manager level having consistently demonstrated delivery above expectation.
- Experienced in functional or small team leadership.
