An exciting opportunity has arisen within our expanding gym for a new Coach to join the team. Salary – £24,000 Pro-rata , starting at 26 hours initially across the week, building up to Full time (37.5 hours) for the full salary posted if desired. We’ve a generous, fast-track promotion/salary increase in place within the first 6-months should the standard of coaching and support be great and current coaches have seen quick pay-rises soon after starting. We’re a growing group training gym in Sale, Greater Manchester and should you be interested there are various opportunities to progress into head coach roles or management/organisational positions of the business in time due to quick growth. Hours – We run numerous group training sessions each day, namely mornings and evenings daily – no Sundays. We are looking for someone to be able to commit to the following hours initially: Monday – 12-8pm Wednesday – 6am-1pm Friday – 1-7pm Saturday – 7am-12pm We’re super happy for this to become a full-time role should you clearly be an awesome fit for Apex. If you can’t do these hours currently, please don’t apply.. We are looking for a new coach who is passionate for helping others and empathetic. This is a key must – you must be able to bring high energy in a group training environment and have a desire to help and motivate people at different abilities. If you don’t enjoy teaching group sessions, please don’t apply. This is around 50% of the role. Our members and supporting them and creating an amazing atmosphere is our number one focus. So we’re looking for a coach that understands this. The other 50% of the role will be on client support and business-related tasks too. The majority of tasks outside of coaching classes will involve checking in with your assigned personal members on a frequent basis to assist, support and hold accountable on various aspects of coaching to help them get their desired results. The successful candidate must be naturally self-motivated and have a great attention to detail. A small number of hours will be solo work opening up or closing the gym, so being on-time and timeliness is a big requirement. You would also be pro-active and use your initiative to problem solve for clients as well as on tasks that arise in the business. And lastly the candidate must bring their A-game energy daily for classes so to impact members in a positive way. This really is an amazing role for someone self-motivated. As a business we also want to offer flexibility and autonomy where we can on how you manage your responsibilities to suit you, even working from home at times to help this. Here’s the kicker, we don’t care on your education apart from PT certificate. We care more for who you are personally and will train and coach to help you in this role. We just want a coach who cares for people, has high energy whilst coaching sessions and wants to have fun in their job! Responsibilities will include; – Coaching group sessions – 3-4 x 45 min coaching sessions per shift. – Coaching and supporting members on our coaching software to motivate and hold accountable – Speaking to clients over the phone – Dealing with prospective new customer queries via text or call – Processing, fulfilling and managing client orders and accounts – Uploading videos to social media of sessions/content – Assisting with programming Essential Skills: Level 3 Personal Trainer Certification (Required) Emergency First-Aid at Work Certification (bonus) Excellent Customer service skills (Must love working with people) Basic IT skills (for using desktop software to help with clients) Ability to follow instructions Good written and verbal communication skills Organised, timely and accountable A health & fitness and customer service background and a good knowledge of the following software would be an advantage; Facebook Instagram WhatsApp Benefits: Bonus Scheme starting in September worth 10% extra on salary a year.
