As a Conference and Events Assistant, we ask that you take pride in your work and have a willingness to learn. You will have a real passion for food and drink, and you will have excellent attention to detail in order to provide consistent standards. This is a vital role in the function of the hotel and ultimately the service provided to our guests prior to and during the event .
We are looking for you to show your personality to our guests, to offer personable help and assistance. You will be great at multi-tasking,efficient at resolving guest enquiries with a smile.
As Conference and Events Assistant you will assist the Conference and Events Supervisor in the day-to-day operation of the conference & events. You will be friendly and approachable and will go the extra mile for our guests.
Your other roles and responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for setting up meeting rooms and events areas for the guests to ensure they receive an excellent experience.
- Provide excellent customer service during each event.
- Serving food and beverages to the guests.
- Delivering the highest standards in service and presentation.
- Prepare tea/coffee breaks and stations with appropriate food and beverages and at the correct time as stated in Event function sheet
- Answer and solve guest requests and aim to fulfil any special requirements during the event
- Being responsible for ensuring all working areas are kept clean and tidy.

This is a vital role in the function of the hotel and ultimately the service provided to our guests before, during and after their stay. You will love chatting to our guests offering help and assistance, you will be a great at multi-tasker, you will be efficient at solving guest enquiries and you will always have a smile for our teams and guests. We want you to be yourself here, bringing your infectious personality which helps makes Apex who we are.
On your first day you will begin a structured 12 week learning journey, giving you the skills, knowledge, and confidence to be a great Conference and Events Assistant.With this in mind, we are looking for a Conference and Events Assistantt who:
