Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Support Manager to oversee and support the effective operation of our care home services. The ideal candidate will be a NMC Registered Nurse with proven leadership experience in the care sector. You will be responsible for ensuring high standards of clinical care, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance across the service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, support, and guidance to care home teams.

  • Ensure services meet or exceed CQC and other regulatory standards.

  • Monitor and manage budgets, resources, and staffing to ensure financial viability.

  • Promote and uphold best practices in person-centred elderly care.

  • Drive quality improvement initiatives and performance monitoring.

  • Mentor, supervise, and develop team members to enhance service delivery.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external partners.

  • Ensure effective complaint handling, safeguarding procedures, and risk management.

Essential Requirements:

  • NMC Registered Nurse (Active PIN).

  • Proven management experience in a care home or similar healthcare environment.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks (CQC).

  • Financial and operational management skills.

  • Excellent leadership and staff development abilities.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
