Forklift / Field Service Engineer Location: Field Based Salary: £38,000 + Overtime OTE: Circa £40,000–£42,000 Company Van Provided We're recruiting for an experienced Forklift / Field Service Engineer to join a well-established materials handling business. This is a field-based position carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work on forklift trucks and other materials handling equipment across customer sites. The Role You'll be responsible for: Servicing and maintaining forklift trucks and MHE Reactive breakdowns and fault finding Planned preventative maintenance Electrical and mechanical repairs Diagnosing hydraulic, mechanical and electrical faults Attending customer sites across your allocated territory Completing service documentation and job reports Providing a professional service to customers What We're Looking For Ideally, you'll have experience working as a: Forklift Engineer Field Service Engineer Plant Fitter Mobile Engineer Materials Handling Engineer Agricultural Engineer HGV / Vehicle Technician with relevant transferable experience You'll need strong mechanical fault-finding skills, with electrical and hydraulic experience being highly desirable. Previous forklift experience is preferred, although engineers from plant, agricultural, access equipment or similar backgrounds may also be considered.
