Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a days-based role within a successful and growing food manufacturing business? This is a permanent, days-only role working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, offering an excellent work-life balance alongside a competitive salary.
The Role
As part of the engineering team, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of food production equipment, ensuring downtime is minimised and production targets are achieved. Responsibilities include:
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive breakdown support and fault finding
- Electrical and mechanical repairs
- Continuous improvement activities
- Equipment inspections and condition monitoring
- Supporting production teams to maximise plant reliability and efficiency
- Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and to food manufacturing standards
About You
We’re keen to speak with engineers who have:
- Previous experience within food manufacturing, FMCG, packaging or automated production environments
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance
- Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent)
- A proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
