The role:
- As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be part of a tight-knit engineering team keeping a busy food factory running smoothly.
- You’ll split your time between:
- Reactive breakdown work across production, packaging and utilities
- Planned and preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
- Supporting machinery upgrades, line improvements and new equipment installs
- Ensuring hygiene, quality and safety standards are met at all times
- Driving continuous improvement across the plant
It’s a role for someone who likes getting stuck in, solving problems fast and seeing the impact of their work on output.
What you need:
- Apprentice trained (Electrical or Mechanical)
- NVQ3 / ONC / HNC in a relevant engineering discipline
- Food, FMCG, automotive or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience
- Strong understanding of CI tools, TPM and modern maintenance practices
- Confident working with safe systems of work: LOTO, PUWER, permits
- Good GMP awareness and a positive, hands-on approach
