A well-established manufacturing business is looking to strengthen its engineering team with the addition of 2 electrically biased Maintenance Engineers. This is a permanent night shift position (8 hours - you will get Friday to Sunday night off every week) offering a stable working pattern, competitive salary and the opportunity to work within a fast-paced production environment supporting a wide range of automated manufacturing equipment.

The Role

  • Electrical fault finding and breakdown response
  • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
  • Diagnosing faults on production and packaging machinery
  • Working with PLC-controlled equipment
  • Maintaining drives, motors, contactors, relays and control systems
  • Supporting mechanical repairs where required
  • Minimising downtime and improving equipment reliability

What We’re Looking For

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
  • Electrically biased maintenance background
  • Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, packaging or production environments
  • Strong fault-finding ability
  • Experience with:
    • PLC fault finding
    • Inverters and drives
    • Motors and motor control systems
    • Contactors and relays
    • Sensors and control circuits
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
