A well-established manufacturing business is looking to strengthen its engineering team with the addition of 2 electrically biased Maintenance Engineers. This is a permanent night shift position (8 hours - you'll get Friday to Sunday night off every week) offering a stable working pattern, competitive salary and the opportunity to work within a fast-paced production environment supporting a wide range of automated manufacturing equipment.
The Role
- Electrical fault finding and breakdown response
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Diagnosing faults on production and packaging machinery
- Working with PLC-controlled equipment
- Maintaining drives, motors, contactors, relays and control systems
- Supporting mechanical repairs where required
- Minimising downtime and improving equipment reliability
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
- Electrically biased maintenance background
- Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, packaging or production environments
- Strong fault-finding ability
- Experience with:
- PLC fault finding
- Inverters and drives
- Motors and motor control systems
- Contactors and relays
- Sensors and control circuits
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team
What’s On Offer
