We're recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established, high-volume manufacturing site operating state-of-the-art automated production machinery.
This is an opportunity to become part of a strong engineering team where you'll play a key role in maintaining production reliability and driving continuous improvement.
The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you'll be responsible for
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive breakdown maintenance
- Electrical fault finding and diagnostics
- PLC fault finding and automation support
- Mechanical repairs including bearings, gearboxes, chains, belts and conveyors
- Continuous improvement projects
- Supporting production to maximise machine uptime
You'll be working on a range of modern, automated manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment.
What We're Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Maintenance
- Electrically biased with strong mechanical skills
- Previous manufacturing, FMCG, packaging or automated production experience
- PLC fault-finding experience (Siemens, Allen Bradley or similar)
- Experience working with drives, sensors, motors and control systems
- A proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement
