We’re supporting a fast-paced manufacturing site looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an established engineering team operating across automated production and packaging lines. This is not a standing-around role. You’ll be fault finding on live production issues, keeping machinery moving during busy shifts and working on a wide range of equipment including conveyors, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, drives and automated process machinery. The site needs engineers who can think practically under pressure, communicate properly with production and take ownership of breakdowns rather than waiting to be told what to do.
What the role involves:
- Reactive and planned maintenance across high-speed production lines
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding
- Working on conveyors, motors, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics and drives
- Supporting machinery reliability and reducing downtime
- Assisting with installations and continuous improvement projects
