A well-established manufacturing business is looking to strengthen its engineering team with the addition of an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer.

This is a permanent PM shift position offering a stable working pattern, guaranteed weekly hours, regular weekend overtime and the chance to join a growing business that values reliability, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Shift Pattern

  • Monday to Friday: 2:30pm - 11:45pm
  • Saturday: 5 hours, usually Saturday morning

Salary

~£45,000 - £47,000 including the 5 Saturday overtime hours

The Role

  • Electrical and mechanical fault finding
  • Planned preventative maintenance
  • Reactive breakdown response and repairs
  • Diagnostic analysis and root cause investigations
  • Supporting production to minimise downtime
  • Maintaining and improving machinery and site equipment
  • Assisting with equipment installation and commissioning
  • Working closely with production and management teams

What We're Looking For

  • Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer
  • Experience within manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Good understanding of health & safety
  • Able to work independently and prioritise workload effectively
  • Recognised engineering qualification advantageous
  • Commercial laundry or process environment experience beneficial
