A well-established manufacturing business is looking to strengthen its engineering team with the addition of an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer. This is a permanent PM shift position offering a stable working pattern, guaranteed weekly hours, regular weekend overtime and the chance to join a growing business that values reliability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
Shift Pattern:
- Monday to Friday: 2:30pm - 11:45pm
- Saturday: 5 hours, usually Saturday morning
Salary: £45,000 - £47,000 including the 5 Saturday overtime hours.
The Role
As part of the engineering team, you'll be responsible for:
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Reactive breakdown response and repairs
- Diagnostic analysis and root cause investigations
- Supporting production to minimise downtime
- Maintaining and improving machinery and site equipment
- Assisting with equipment installation and commissioning
- Working closely with production and management teams
What We're Looking For
- Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer
- Experience within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Good understanding of health & safety
- Able to work independently and prioritise workload effectively
- Recognised engineering qualification advantageous
- Commercial laundry or process environment experience beneficial
