We are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join a busy industrial site in Nottingham. This is a permanent, Monday to Friday day-based position carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across production and processing equipment.
The role:
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Reactive breakdown response
- Mechanical and electrical fault finding
- Maintenance of conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps and drive systems
- Hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance
- Supporting installations, repairs and engineering improvements
- Occasional Saturday overtime when required
The person:
We are interested in engineers with experience working within manufacturing, recycling, heavy industry, FMCG or a similar production environment. You should have:
- Previous maintenance engineering experience
- Strong mechanical or electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience maintaining industrial machinery
- A relevant engineering qualification
- A practical, hands-on approach
- The ability to work independently and as part of an engineering team
Package:
- £35,000+ basic salary
- Monday-to-Friday day shift
- Overtime paid at time and a half
- Sundays paid at double time
- Permanent position
