Are you an experienced Plant Fitter looking for a stable, well-paid role with a leading industrial business? We're looking for a hands-on Plant Engineer to maintain and repair a wide range of heavy plant and recycling equipment within a busy processing facility. Working as part of an experienced engineering team, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing mobile and static plant, ensuring equipment remains safe, reliable and available for operation. This is a varied role where no two shifts are the same.
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical fault finding
- Inspection and servicing of plant equipment
- Root cause analysis
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records
Previous experience as a Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Engineer, Plant Technician or Heavy Plant Engineer is required. Strong mechanical fault-finding ability and good knowledge of hydraulics, diesel engines and mobile plant are essential. Basic electrical fault-finding experience would be advantageous. A proactive, safety-focused approach to maintenance is necessary.
Working pattern: 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights.
