A well-established manufacturing business is looking to strengthen its engineering team with the addition of an 2x electrically biased Maintenance Engineers. This is a permanent night shift position ( 8 hours- you'll get Friday to Sunday night off every week ) offering a stable working pattern, competitive salary and the opportunity to work within a fast-paced production environment supporting a wide range of automated manufacturing equipment. The Role As part of the engineering team, youll be responsible for: Electrical fault finding and breakdown response Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Supporting continuous improvement initiatives Diagnosing faults on production and packaging machinery Working with PLC-controlled equipment Maintaining drives, motors, contactors, relays and control systems Supporting mechanical repairs where required Minimising downtime and improving equipment reliability What Were Looking For NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering Electrically biased maintenance background Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, packaging or production environments Strong fault-finding ability Experience with: PLC fault finding Inverters and drives Motors and motor control systems Contactors and relays Sensors and control circuits ~ Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team Whats On Offer ~£53,000 - £55,000 salary ~ Permanent night shift pattern ~ Sunday to Thursday ~10pm - 6am | meaning you get Friday day through to Sunday evening off every week! ~ Stable and growing manufacturing environment ~ Long-term career opportunity For a confidential discussion, contact Adam Hickman at Apex Appoint.
