We are currently supporting a well-established manufacturing business based in Thurmaston, Leicester who are looking to add an electrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to their engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable, well-invested manufacturing site where engineers are trusted to take ownership of maintenance and improvement activities across the plant.

The role operates on a double days shift pattern (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm) with one week of nights every five weeks. The night shift week consists of four x 8-hour shifts, providing a balanced and manageable rotation.

You will be responsible for supporting the site through a mixture of reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance and continuous improvement activity. Working closely with production teams, you will play a key role in ensuring machinery uptime and driving reliability across the facility.

  • Electrical and mechanical fault finding on manufacturing equipment
  • Supporting PPM schedules and planned engineering work
  • Working with production teams to minimise downtime and improve performance

We are keen to speak with engineers who have experience within manufacturing or production environments, ideally with a strong electrical skillset:

  • Experience fault finding on three-phase electrical systems
  • Strong problem-solving ability within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • A proactive attitude towards maintenance and reliability
  • Electrical qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / HNC or equivalent would be advantageous.
