There are two roles available:

  • Monday to Friday | 4pm-1am | £54,700
  • Days | 5am - 5pm | 2-2-3 Panama Pattern

Week 1: Mon, Tue, 3 off, Fri, Sat, Sun

Week 2: 2 off, Wed, Thu, 3 off

The site has been operating for decades, is financially stable, and is now pushing major upgrades across machinery, automation and site-wide performance.

The role:

  • As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll be part of a tight-knit engineering team keeping a busy food factory running smoothly.
  • You’ll split your time between:
    • Reactive breakdown work across production, packaging and utilities
    • Planned and preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
    • Supporting machinery upgrades, line improvements and new equipment installs
    • Ensuring hygiene, quality and safety standards are met at all times
    • Driving continuous improvement across the plant

It’s a role for someone who likes getting stuck in, solving problems fast and seeing the impact of their work on output.

What you need:

  • Apprentice trained (Electrical or Mechanical)
  • NVQ3 / ONC / HNC in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Food, FMCG, automotive or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience
  • Strong understanding of CI tools, TPM and modern maintenance practices
  • Confident working with safe systems of work: LOTO, PUWER, permits
  • Good GMP awareness and a positive, hands-on approach
