An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Forklift Engineer to join a well-established business maintaining its own fleet of specialist forklifts.
This is a workshop-based role where you'll take ownership of the maintenance, servicing and repair of a modern fleet, working closely with the operations team to ensure maximum uptime across the business.
- Service, repair and maintain a fleet of side loader forklifts
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and inspections
- Manage workshop stock and order replacement parts when required
- Complete maintenance records accurately
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop
You'll ideally have experience working on forklifts, plant machinery or similar mobile equipment.
- Experience servicing, maintaining and repairing forklifts, plant or material handling equipment
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical fault-finding skills
- A proactive approach to maintenance and problem solving
- A full UK driving licence
- A forklift licence would be advantageous but isn't essential.
£35,000 - £42,000 depending on experience
