Overview

As Project Planner, you will own and govern the integrated project plan for Kitchen West, coordinating planning across workstreams to deliver objectives. You will coach workstream leads, manage dependencies, and provide clear progress reporting. You’ll produce simplified outputs like a Plan on a Page and support governance with robust planning insights. The role combines MS Project and AutoCAD support to keep drawings and schedules aligned, on site in Trowbridge for 18 months.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and manage the integrated project plan across the project lifecycle
  • Coordinate inputs from workstream leads to create a consolidated delivery plan
  • Identify and manage interdependencies and their impact on delivery
  • Monitor progress, propose corrective actions, and provide schedule reporting and analysis
  • Lead planning for the project, coaching workstream leads in techniques and scheduling
  • Produce and maintain Plan on a Page; create planning reports and dashboards
  • Provide AutoCAD support for drawings and documentation; assist in risk and issue management
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes, tools, and templates

Key requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in a Project Planner or Project Controls role
  • Advanced Microsoft Project skills (schedule development, resource planning, dependency management, progress tracking)
  • Experience managing integrated plans with multiple workstreams
  • Strong understanding of planning principles and critical path analysis
  • Experience coordinating planning activities across stakeholder groups
  • Ability to coach others in planning techniques and software
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • AutoCAD experience to support documentation
