The company’s continued expansion has created the need to recruit an additional person to our stock team to support the current operation and our needs for the future.
We are currently recruiting for the following shift pattern: 22:00 to 06:00 working Sunday to Thursday (flexible and subject to change according to business needs). This will be an 8-hour paid shift, 40 hours per week, there may be occasions when overtime is required and flexibility of start and finish times in line with business needs. We operate a cold store at -22/25 degrees and some of the working time will be spent in this environment. This role is based at our UK Distribution Centre in Portbury BS20 7XT. Due to the location, a driving licence and access to your own transport are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out stock counts within the Coldstore -22/25 degrees.
- Stock variance investigation and processing adjustments.
- Reviewing stock availability and stock replenishment from other warehouses.
- Liaising with Technical Department on stock releasing from QC.
- Monitoring and advising Customer Services of Stock Shortages.
- Processing various transactions on SAP, including post goods delivery issue and booking in direct deliveries.
- Liaising with the warehouse team.
- Reviewing product usage and pick slot allocations.
About you:
Essential:
- Due to the location, a driving licence and access to your own transport are essential.
- Stock control background.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment, the role is both office and warehouse (Coldstore) based.
- Good PC skills.
- High level of numeracy.
- Educated to GCSE level as a minimum.
- Able to demonstrate commitment and stability.
- Flexible, good attendance and timekeeping.
- Multi-skilled or willing to learn new skills.
- Eye for detail, quality and accuracy.
- Good team player.
- A flexible, motivated and committed individual with a “can do” approach.
- Calm under pressure, with the ability to work within tight deadlines.
Desirable:
- Temperature controlled warehouse experience.
- Experience of SAP or similar stock management systems.
